Best coney style restaurant in town. They have the best prices, portions, and quality.

2. George H.

Best Coney Island hot dog in Detroit hands down . The service was great the bathrooms were clean. Has that retro restaurant feel. You can't go wrong with anything at Duly's.

3. Al P.

Don't hesitate going. This place is delicious any hour of the day. Chili-cheese omelette for breakfast

Old school diner with reasonable prices. I eat here 1-2 times a year on the rare occasion when I get the chance to stop by Southwest Detroit for breakfast. I haven't tried the Coney dogs, but the hot dogs here received Anthony Bourdain's approval. I've had the breakfast food, grits, tuna sandwich, and fries. I recommend sticking to the breakfast items rather than ordering a sandwich. The tuna sandwich was pretty standard and not a standout on the menu. I've said this before in other reviews, but Detroit proper is the best place to get a cheap and delicious breakfast. Restaurants in the suburbs overcharge as much as 4x more for breakfast, and something is missing from the taste you get at a Detroit greasy spoon. The breakfast is simple and filling: eggs, meat, potatoes, and toast for $6.25 (cash only). An order of grits gives you a generous container, and if you say yes to lots of butter, they add a lot. However, the butter doesn't add much to the flavor. They should use salted butter. I love that places like Duly's are still standing, and it feels like not much has probably changed since it opened over a century ago.

This place is where you go for a legit coney dog in Detroit. This place is untouched by the hands of time.

Another Anthony Bourdain eats pilgrimage completed. His memory remains intact, as he lived the motor city and gave due respect here. The area feels aged, tough and I suggest you keep things daytime only. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, bring cash, no credit. Grabbed a couple dogs, and they were a wonderful mess. Daily eat, no. But what a treat. Thanks Anthony for opening our eyes, hearts and tastebuds to these hidden local gems that would have never seen culinary light outside of local chatter -- if not for you. I'll be back.

Hey, had to stop into Duly's! Anthony Bourdain was here in one of his many episodes, so I had to make the Pilgrimage since I was in Detroit last week! We all got the Coney Island dogs - all the way - Boom! It was awesome. The fries were perfectly done too. It's a little place full of character and charm...and some of the best dogs you can find...and I love dogs! Don't pass up this experience, fantastic service and food.

Forget the others THIS is the BEST dog in Detroit and beyond. In Toledo we have our own favorites; but this is my favorite by far. Generous portions, delicious food and great service. This is a Detroit Treasure!
